about

The title Shape Without Form comes from a poem by T. S. Eliot titled The Hollow Men.

The loose concept of this album is about being human/unhuman, avoiding becoming hollow, that threatens us all.

***

"Overall, wow, was I impressed with this album. They are masterful songwriters and their ability to gain nuance from every note is impressive. The sheer diversity of sounds presented is astonishing as well. They play with melodies like the creator plays with the universe. The band exhibits such precision in a genre that demands no mistakes, and the band makes absolutely none. They also play like they have been together for many years as a foursome. This is exceptional Instrumental music that leaves no stone un-turned."
-Metal Temple - (10/10)

"The tracks have variety within themselves, and plenty between songs. Any time I take breath another experience emerges and that all leads to a delicious end result. Last time was excellent, this time they’ve gone one further."
- The Rocktologist - (20/20)

"This album is full of surprises, variety and stellar performances from all of the band members. If you are a person that is normally turned off by all instrumental albums, you should still hear this album. There is so much variety and feeling in the music that you don't even miss the vocals. If you do love instrumental albums, then you will definitely want to hear this. It is definitely one of the best albums I have heard this year. "
- TCat, Prog Archives - (5/5)

"On the contrary, these guys are nothing more or less than prog-metal alchemists, stirring their eclectic mixture of traditional metal, thrash, old-school progressive rock, ambient new age music, reggae, cinematic passages/spoken-word sections, and psychedelic explorations into a potent — if somewhat bizarre and unique — mixture. The concoction is powerful indeed."
-Moshpitnation - (4.5/5)

"From crunching riffs, excellent solos to very beautiful orchestral arrangements this is an album that you can go to time and again."
- Wild Spiritz Magazine - (9/10)

- Bleeding4metal - (8/10)

"Ranging from moody power riffs to ephemeral synthetics and delicate arpeggios to stomping rhythms. There is a lot going on and it is wonderfully inspiring."
- Soundscape Magazine - (8/10)

"f you’re traditionally not a fan of instrumental albums then this is one that could win you over to the genre because it’s one of the best we’ve heard in a long stretch."
- Metal Noise - (8/10)
